SHEL-TARN CORPORATION's Role Supporting FEMA’s Public Assistance (PA) Program as a FLUOR Zone I Subcontractor.

SHEL-TARN CORPORATION, a woman-owned business and Equal Opportunity Employer, will provide labor assets needed to support the Public Assistance (PA) Program with FLUOR during major disasters and emergencies. The Company will hire and deploy personnel to provide advisory and assistance services, technical assessments, cost analysis, as well as project management support to ensure accurate, efficient, and consistent recovery operations. These services are typically needed after major disasters and emergencies in order to implement the Public Assistance (PA) Program.

 

SHEL-TARN CORPORATION and FLUOR will provide support to FEMA in the execution and delivery of the Public Assistance (PA) Program. Due to the re-engineered delivery process for the Public Assistance (PA) Program, entry level employment requires a minimum of two years’ in-field experience with a related college degree or five years’ in-field experience without a college degree for individuals seeking employment under FEMA’s PA TAC IV contract. 

 

SHEL-TARN CORPORATION and FLUOR will provide training and mentoring to ensure our success supporting FEMA in the delivery of the Public Assistance (PA) Program.

FEMA Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contract (PA TAC IV)

 

FEMA's mission is to support citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards. Within FEMA, the Recovery Directorate's Public Assistance (PA) Division has the specific mission of providing Applicant assistance to State, Tribal, and Local

Government and to certain Private Nonprofit (PNP) organizations so communities can quickly respond to and recover from major disasters or emergencies declared by the President.

 

As authorized under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, FEMA provides supplemental Federal disaster grant assistance for debris removal, emergency protective measures, and the repair, replacement, and restoration of disaster-damaged, publicly owned facilities and the facilities of certain Private Nonprofit (PNP) organizations.

 

Under the Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contract (PA TAC IV), SHEL-TARN CORPORATION with FLUOR will provide non-professional and professional services in an Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) capacity to support requirements across designated states.
